🔋 VoltPulse — Privacy Policy

No data collection VoltPulse is a fully offline battery health diagnostic app. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

1. Information We Access

VoltPulse reads the following device-local battery sensor data to display diagnostics:

Battery level, voltage, temperature, and current
Charge cycle count (if exposed by device kernel)
Battery capacity and health status
Device manufacturer and model name (for device profile matching)

This data is never transmitted off your device. It is used solely for on-screen display and local storage.

2. Local Data Storage

VoltPulse stores daily battery health snapshots in a local SQLite database on your device. This data:

Remains exclusively on your device
Is automatically pruned to the most recent 90 days
Is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data

Alert preferences (charge limit, temperature threshold) are stored locally using Android SharedPreferences.

3. No Network Access

VoltPulse does not include any network permissions. The app:

Does not use the internet
Does not contain ads or ad SDKs
Does not include analytics or tracking libraries
Does not communicate with any external servers

4. Permissions

The app requests the following Android permission:

BATTERY_STATS — A normal (auto-granted) permission used to read battery telemetry from the Android system. No user prompt is required.

No dangerous permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage) are requested.

5. Share Feature

The diagnostic report can be shared via Android's built-in share sheet (e.g., to messaging apps, email). The shared content is a plain-text summary generated locally. VoltPulse does not control or access the destination app.

6. Children's Privacy

VoltPulse does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is a utility tool with no user accounts, social features, or data collection.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
